These students exemplify the dedication and creativity that come from pursuing excellence in both academics and the arts. The Scholar-Artist program highlights how the arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education, developing critical thinking, collaboration, and a deeper sense of community.
LIAA and Newsday will spotlight each Scholar-Artist with an in-depth profile published monthly from September through June. These features will highlight their creative journeys, academic pursuits, and future goals. Check back throughout the year to meet each student and be inspired by their stories and be sure to follow us on Instagram where we will spotlight the students throughout the year.
