Tickets Now Available for “Van Gogh: The Roulin Family Portraits”

We’re about to Gogh all out!

March 30 – September 7th, 2025

—————-

You likely know Vincent van Gogh’s paintings of the postman Joseph Roulin and his wife Augustine from our Impressionism Gallery. Now it’s time to meet the rest of the family!

In 1888, while living in the South of France, Van Gogh forged a cherished friendship with his neighbors: the Roulins and their three children, Armand, Camille, and Marcelle. Over the next year, during a pivotal time in his life, the artist painted a series of intimate portrayals of the family. Our upcoming exhibition is the first to examine the deep bonds between the artist and the Roulins—bringing together more than 20 of Van Gogh’s beloved works to Boston from around the world.

Timed-entry tickets are required for this special exhibition! Book early to guarantee your preferred entry date and time.
