We had so much fun with our July Documentary Series—and thank you to the more than 500 North Forkers who came out to join us! Now it’s on to August.
Next weekend, we have a lot of free programming (all in service of supporting arts and community!). Friday, we’re hosting a conversation with the captain and crew of the Barque Eagle, along with sea shanties from Ethel’s Mermen, co-hosted with the East End Seaport Museum. On Saturday, join us for a screening of Blades of Glory to support the Mitchell Park future ice rink (and then head over to the party that evening!). We hope you’ll join us for one or both, and consider a donation to any of the three great causes.
If you’re planning ahead, now’s a great time to grab tickets for our second annual Blues Night.
Looking for a movie this weekend? Spider-Man opens today, alongside The Invite (new to us from Olivia Wilde) and the ’90s classic Slacker. And if you haven’t seen The Odyssey, there’s still time to catch it on the big screen.
Looking forward to seeing you soon,
Alison

Spider-Man: Brand New Day
|
Theater Two ♿
PG-13 for sequences of action/violence and some language
It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him — and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him — sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see.

Theater Four ♿

A day in the life of Austin, Texas as the camera roams from place to place and provides a brief look at the overeducated, the social misfits, the outcasts and the oddballs.
