This entertaining documentary chronicles the rise of New York City’s legendary Comic Strip comedy club and its impact on stand-up comedy. Following the screening (80 min.), audiences can participate in a live Q&A with directors Abby Russell and Brent Sterling Nemetz, joined by comedian Sherrod Small and Eat, Drink and Laugh co-producer/comedian Jeffrey Gurian. Thank you to our generous donor Kathleen Kmet Becker for making this July Docuseries possible!

He is currently creating the new series THE UNDERGROUND for Amazon Television and is delighted to be teaching a 3-day crash course in micro-budget filmmaking. Learn to write, act, direct, manage lighting and sound, edit, and produce a short film You’ll be on location around the North Fork on iPhones and editing with Adobe software. Appropriate for ages 14-100+

For America’s 250th anniversary, the Barque Eagle, along with other tall ships from around the world, has been touring the Eastern Seaboard, from New Orleans to Charleston to NYC to Boston. Their final stop before docking back at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London is Greenport!
