Auditions for “The Game’s Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays” by Ken Ludwig will be held on Sunday, October 4th, and Tuesday, October 6th, at 6:00 p.m., with callbacks on Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 p.m.

This holiday-themed mystery/farce will be directed by Becky Adams-Korn. Auditioners are asked to prepare a 1-minute comedic monologue of their choice and be prepared to cold read sides from the show. This show requires a fair amount of physical comedy and some accent work for select roles.

William Gillette : A charismatic, quick-witted, and larger-than-life Broadway star world-famous for playing Sherlock Holmes. He invites his castmates to his eccentric Connecticut castle and channels Holmes when a real murder occurs.
Martha Gillette : William’s sweet, slightly eccentric, and doting mother who lives with him. Was once an actress herself!
Felix Geisel : A fellow actor in William’s recent show and a close friend of William, theatrical and energetic.
Madge Geisel : Felix’s sharp-witted, worldly wife and fellow cast member in their current Broadway show.
Simon Bright : A passionate, up-and-coming young actor, also in the group’s current cast.
Aggie Wheeler : A sweet, young ingénue in the cast who recently joined the circle of friends/cast mates.
Daria Chase : A sharp, venomous, and ruthless theatre critic who delights in puncturing egos and creates trouble for the group.
Inspector Harriet Goring : A wonderfully eccentric local police inspector and avid theatre fan who is called in (or arrives unexpectedly) to handle the chaotic murder investigation.
