Dream Journey! Surrealism Workshop

Melting clocks! A comb that is larger than a bed! Explore the world of dreams and imagination in paintings by Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, and other Surrealist artists with Joyce Raimondo. Then participants will be guided in Surrealist art activities designed to access the imagination and dream world. Have pencil and paper on hand.

Learn the basics of light and shadow to create the effect of three dimensional volume in your drawing. Participants will begin by drawing a sphere and will then be guided to draw a human face with light and shadow.
