Live on Zoom, tour the studio and home of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner, and learn creative ways artists capture the sublime energy of nature in art. Afterwards, Joyce will demonstrate how you can capture the beauty of Autumn with paint. Have paint supplies on hand.

SEASHELLS INTO ART Georgia O’Keeffe Workshop
Inspired by shells found on the ocean shore, we will paint larger than life sea shell paintings inspired by American artist Georgia O’Keeffe. Following a virtual art show of O’Keeffe’s popular shell paintings, artist Joyce Raimondo will demonstrate how to turn your ocean finds into masterpieces. Have paint or drawing supplies and a shell or photograph of a shell on hand.

NEW! IN PERSON DRIP PAINTING AND TOUR FOR ADULTS
Sunday, October 13, 2024, 10:00 – 11:30 am
Guided by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator, adults tour the home and studio of famous Abstract Expressionist artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner in East Hampton, NY. Then, express your creativity as you make your own drip paintings outdoors on the spectacular grounds. B
$30 fee; includes admission and supplies; 11 x 14 inch canvas board, tempera paint. (Participants may also bring their own canvases.)

RULES: This program is geared to an adult audience only. Everyone on property must have a pre-paid registration. The program is given during non-public hours, and space is limited. We cannot admit additional people on property other than those registered. Your purchase is non-refundable and no exchanges of dates are given. If it rains, the tour portion of the program will be given and participants will be given drip painting kits to create at home.
