Take a Trip into Creativity
Wednesday, December 11, 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Unblock your creativity, rip up your artwork, and create a new one. You’ll learn the tenets of creative thinking that are exemplified in Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner’s processes. You’ll create collage by tearing, cutting, gluing, drawing, and/or painting. Supplies needed: paint or drawing supplies, scissors, glue, two sheets of paper.

Ignite the Darkness Workshop

Flickering light through leaves, a spectacular sunrise, the changing seasons.
How do artists capture the effects of light in painting from Impressionism to Abstract Expressionist art?
Following an art presentation, participants are invited to paint their
own interpretations of the beauty of light. Supplies to have ready are: paper, a few brushes and paint.

How can an artist profit financially from their creative work? Discover the many
ways famous artists Jackson Pollock, Marc Chagall, Andy Warhol and others earned
a prosperous living making art. This session is designed to debunk the stereotype
of the starving artist by highlighting avenues for artists to promote and sell their creative projects.
