This Monday, the Parrish will open several new exhibitions. A New Subjectivity 1979/2024 pays tribute to the original exhibition Nouvelle Subjectivité in Brussels in 1979. Featured artists include BalthusJordan CasteelRackstraw DownesJane Freilicher, and Arcmanoro Niles, among others. The exciting lineup also includes solo exhibitions Audrey Flack: Mid-Century to Post-Pop BaroqueBeyond Reality: Paintings and Drawings by Bertrand MenielRafael Lozano-Hemmer: Collider, and FRESH PAINT: Derrick Adams. Join us for a screening of In the Summers in the Lichtenstein Theater, as the Parrish continues its collaboration with Cinema Tropical to present Spanish language films during Hispanic Heritage Month. This powerful directorial debut from Alessandra Lacorazza won the top prize for an American fiction feature at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. The Hollywood Reporter writes, “The feature is a visual poem, an enveloping four-stanza ode to experiences shared by a man and his daughters.” Register today!
