The FRESH PAINT series continues with a large-scale, interactive installation in the Museum’s Lobby by artist Rudolf Stingel (American, b. Italy, 1956). Made of Celotex panels, visitors are invited to draw into the work’s surface and leave behind marks and impressions of their own designs. Don’t miss the current installment, FRESH PAINT: Raven Halfmoon, on view through this Sunday. The commissioned text by artist Rose B. Simpson is now available here.

Join us this Saturday for a morning dedicated to our members.Walk through the Museum’s galleries and mingle with Parrish staff and other members. Museum docents will be stationed throughout the galleries available to answer your questions about the exhibitions on view, the artists participating in the collection exhibitions, or other art questions you may have. Complimentary coffee will be available. Drop in anytime between 10 AM and 12 PM. Registration is recommended.

ENGAGE | ARTscope Teen Council & Parkinson’s Open House
Know a teen art lover? The Parrish’s ARTscope: Teen Council​ is a paid, high school internship program focusing on the visual arts as a resource for community, skill building, and creativity. Applications are due October 10. On October 16, individuals with Parkinson’s and their caregivers are invited to an Open House to learn about ACCESS PARRISH, engage with current exhibitions, attend docent tours, and enjoy light refreshments. Free event.
