Join us this Friday for a special screening of Mary Heilmann: Waves, Roads & Hallucinations, presented in collaboration with Hamptons International Film Festival. This documentary offers a visually immersive journey through the artist’s life, using rare archival material and in-studio footage to explore her mind and practice. The screening is followed by a Q&A with Producer Jacqueline Sischy and Chief Curator Corinne Erni, as well as a reception and poster reveal for the 32nd Annual Hamptons International Film Festival, created by Heilmann. CLOSING SOON | JR: Les Enfants d’Ouranos
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9
Be sure to experience JR: Les Enfants d’Ouranos before the façade installation is removed on September 9. Presented since May 2023 on the south façade of the Museum and visible from Montauk Highway, Les Enfants d’Ouranos by artist JR (b. 1983, Paris, France) is a 200-foot long banner depicting children playfully running. It continues JR’s previous work for Déplacé.e.s, featuring children from refugee camps in Rwanda, Ukraine, Mauritania, Greece, and Colombia.
