FRESH PAINT | Chase Hall’s The Affrilachian Mountains (2026)

On View Through January 25, 2027
In collaboration with The FLAG Art Foundation, the FRESH PAINT series continues with Chase Hall’s The Affrilachian Mountains (2026), exhibited for the first time at the Parrish. For over ten years, Hall has been creating figurative paintings that explore the multifaceted nature of life, culture, and history. For this iteration of FRESH PAINT, author and curator Ekow Eshun interviewed the artist about his life growing up, his cultural influences, and the significance behind using coffee and cotton in his artwork. Read the text here and experience FRESH PAINT: Chase Hall now, free to enjoy in the Creativity Lounge.
