GALLERY TALK | Beyond the Horizon with artists Sandi Haber Fifield and Laurie Lambrecht

On the closing weekend of Beyond the Horizon: Interpretations of the Landscape from Women in the Permanent Collection, join us for a gallery talk with exhibition artists Sandi Haber Fifield and Laurie Lambrecht, moderated by Assistant Curator Brianna Hernández. TALK | PechaKucha Night Hamptons, Vol. 40
FRIDAY, JUNE 28 at 6 PM

PechaKucha Night Hamptons at the Parrish returns this summer! Meet some of the many creatives who call the East End of Long Island, New York, their home. Artists, writers, musicians, gardeners, farmers, baymen, chefs, designers, and architects present their work and passions in just under 7 minutes as they use a simple format of 20 images x 20 seconds per image. Advanced registration is recommended.

Next month, the Parrish will open new solo exhibitions. For her first solo museum exhibition, painter and sculptor Julia Chiang will present new, large-scale paintings and ceramics. The organic-looking imagery in fresh vibrant hues borrows from the physical and the psychological.

FILM | Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom
FRIDAY, JUNE 21 at 6 PM

As we commemorate Juneteenth, join us for a documentary screening of Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom, co-presented with the Eastville Community Historical Society and Southampton African American Museum. The documentary tells the story of Juneteenth, and the historical and cultural role faith played in the African American experience. Screening followed by a panel with Dr. Georgette Grier-Key, Reverend Kimberley Johnson, and Brenda Simmons.

MEMBER TOUR | Exhibition The Barn, Bridgehampton
SATURDAY, JUNE 29 at 5 PM
Contemporaries Circle members are invited to help kick off the summer with a toast at Elena Frampton’s Bridgehampton gallery, Exhibition The Barn. Currently on view is Janelle Lynch: Endless Forms Most Beautiful, a collaboration between Frampton Co. with London and Hong Kong-based Flowers Gallery. Remarks by the artist will take place at 6 PM.
