Join us this Friday as Summer Jazz on the Terrace concludes with a performance by the Sarah Hanahan Quartet! Hanahan is an up-and-coming jazz saxophonist in New York City and a graduate of the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the Hartt School of Music as well as The Juilliard School. A generational talent on the rise, Hanahan was recently featured in the first-ever class of NPR Jazz Night in America’s Youngbloods alongside Samara Joy, Immanuel Wilkins, Isaiah J. Thompson, and Sean Mason. The series features “five up-and-coming jazz geniuses who are revolutionizing their genre”—all of whom are under the age of 30. TALK | 2024 Parrish Road Show Artist: Andrea Cote
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 at 1 PM
Join artist Andrea Cote in the Parrish’s Lichtenstein Theater as she discusses her 2024 Parrish Road Show exhibition installed at Bridge Gardens in Bridgehampton and shares her artistic process. Composed of uniquely printed fabrics, some of which are suspended as banners from trees and others installed with bamboo structures reaching fifteen feet in height, Cote’s installation will complement and highlight various features of the landscape.
