MUSICSummer Jazz on the Terrace co-presented with Jazz at Lincoln Center & Hamptons JazzFest
FRIDAY, AUGUST 16 at 6 PM
Join us this Friday for our next Summer Jazz on the Terrace performance, featuring the Ekep Nkwelle Quartet! The Cameroonian-American jazz vocalist Ekep Nkwelle entrances audiences with her strong lyrical presence and an uncanny connection to phrasing that’s both grounded and ethereal. She has performed at Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, and Newport and Montclair jazz festivals, but most notably, she was featured in 2022 on NPR’s Tiny Desk singing her arrangement of Geri Allen’s “Timeless Portraits and Dreams.” Don’t miss this exciting performance on the Mildred C. Brinn Terrace and Event Lawn!
