Have you seen FRESH PAINT: Derrick Adams up close in our Creativity Lounge? In collaboration with The FLAG Art Foundation, this installment of the FRESH PAINT series features Derrick Adams’ recently completed work, Getting the Bag, accompanied by a commissioned interpretive text by writer and multidisciplinary artist Folasade Ologundudu. You can read Ologundudu’s essay on our website or in the Creativity Lounge, free to visit and open to the public during regular Museum hours.

LEARN & ENGAGE | Parkinson’s Disease Pottery at the Parrish and Drumming Workshop
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12 at 11 AM
As part of the Museum’s Access Parrish initiative, the Parrish is offering two free programs on December 12. Individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners are invited to a free pottery class in collaboration with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. Individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia and their care partners are invited to a free drumming workshop in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center.
