Nature Inspiration: East End Painters

Discover how Impressionist painters William Merritt Chase and Childe Hassam, Abstract Expressionist painters Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollock, and others were inspired by the natural beauty on Long Island’s East End. Then create your own painting inspired by nature. Have paint supplies on hand (red, yellow, blue and white paint; a heavy weight paper, a mixing platform such as a coated paper plate, paint brushes, water, cups and paper towel) and optionally a photograph that inspires you.
