We’ll be open from 11 AM to 4 PM for the Cold Spring Harbor Village annual holiday music event – the St. John’s choir and brass quartet will be in town! Virtual Lecture December 12th at 5:30 PM
Did you know that 2024 marks the 400th anniversary of the founding of the Dutch colony that would become New York? Join us in commemorating this historical moment with a special virtual talk with Lauren Brincat, our Chief Curator & Director of Collections! Lauren will discuss Dutch influence on Long Island’s material culture and architectural landscape.
Partner Event: Holiday House Tours December 6th & 7th
This year we are excited to participate in the Three Village Historical Society’s Annual Candlelight House Tour. Preservation Long Island’s Sherwood-Jayne House will be a stop on the tour for the first time! Guests can visit the 1730 farmhouse, along with six private homes and special stops on December 6th & 7th. The tour event takes place in the East Setauket Historic District and features interiors & exteriors beautifully decorated for the holidays!
