It’s almost here: A Billion Dollar Dream: The 19641965 New York World’s Fair on its 60th Anniversary opens on Sunday, November 3, 2024! Join us for an afternoon celebration featuring exhibition walkthroughs, drop-in workshops for families and adult art making, Panorama tours, and more.

Schedule:

– 1:00pm–4:00pm: Drop-in family art making workshops 

– 1:30pm: Tour of The Panorama of the City of New York 

– 2:00pm–3:00pm: A Billion Dollar Dream walkthrough

– 2:00pm–4:00pm: New New Yorkers drop-in adult art making workshops

– 3:00pm–4:00pm: Tours of Cameron A. Granger: 9999Nsenga Knight: Close to Home, and Catalina Schliebener Muñoz: Buenos Vecinos. These tours will explore each artist’s responses to the 19641965 New York World’s Fair archive at the Queens Museum.

– 3:30pm: Spanish language tour of The Panorama of the City of New York

Únase a nuestra tarde de celebración con recorridos por la exposición, talleres de arte para toda la familia y de creación artística para adultos, visitas guiadas por El Panorama y muchas cosas más.

Horarios:

– 1:00pm–4:00pm: Talleres de arte para toda la familia

– 1:30pm: Visita guiada del Panorama de la Ciudad de Nueva York 

– 2:00pm–3:00pm: Recorrido por A Billion Dollar Dream («Un sueño de mil millones de dólares»)

– 2:00pm–4:00pm: Talleres de creación artística para adultos sin necesidad de reserva, organizados por New New Yorkers

– 3:00pm–4:00pm: Visitas guiadas de Cameron A. Granger: 9999Nsenga Knight: Close to Home y Catalina Schliebener Muñoz: Buenos Vecinos. En estas visitas se explorarán las respuestas de cada artista al archivo de la Feria Mundial de 1964-1965 en Nueva York del Queens Museum.
