Our Gala Harvest Festival on October 12!

This Saturday, come on down to shop your favorite local vendors and stock up on items like tomatoes and garlic from KK’s the Farm, potpourri from By Way of the Farm Candle company, farm raised duck and fresh eggs from INF Livestock, bread from Alpina Bakery, sweatshirts from Eel Town Oysters and more.

In addition to all that, next week’s Harvest Festival features a whole host of special happenings! There are honey harvest demonstrations from Promiseland Apiary, story time with Sara from Shelter Island Library, a jewelry beading station with Deebeadables, an art booth with Jude Amsel, and face painting with Sonomi of KK’s The Farm.

You can dance to live music from Tom and Lisa, snack on delicious food offerings from the Stars Café Food Truck or indulge in seasonal treats like hot cider and donuts. We’ve extended our hours from 9am to 1:30pm on October 12 so you can enjoy all the end-of-season festivities.

Looking ahead, you might want to shop at next year’s Havens Farmers’ Market with your own hand-made basket! Carol Losquadro and Patricia Robben from the Basket Weavers Guild of Eastern Long Island are teaching a workshop in basket weaving on Saturday, October 26. Details are below.
