Today, July 31, is the last day to explore Ten Squared Online Art Exhibit & Sale on Southold Historical Museum’s website.

We hope you’ll take a look and consider a purchase before the sale closes. You’ll find a collection of original 10″ x 10″ artworks by talented local artists inspired by the theme Celebrate America — North Fork Legacy in the Spirit of 1776. Every piece is one of a kind and available for $100.

Each purchase supports both the participating artists and Southold Historical Museum, making it a meaningful way to celebrate local creativity while helping preserve our shared history.

Line Dancing in the Barn Tonight!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Join Long Island’s own Lady T for one of the two remaining Line Dancing in the Barn events this evening, Friday, July 31, at 7:00 PM at the Maple Lane Campus.

Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or you’re a seasoned line dancer, everyone is welcome. Bring friends, family, or come solo for a fun-filled summer evening. You can purchase tickets at the door. $10 for members/$20 for non-members.

One final session will be held on August 28. Rain or shine. Space is limited, so pre-registration is recommended, although not required.

Final Saturday to See Red, White & Blue Textile Exhibit

This Saturday, Aug. 1, is the last day to view Red, White & Blue, a special textile exhibit showcasing contemporary quilts paired with vintage American flags. The exhibit explores the artistry, craftsmanship, and enduring symbolism woven into these remarkable textiles.

The exhibit will be open from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Southold Historical Museum’s Maple Lane Campus, 55200 Main Road, Southold.

Admission is $5 per person or $10 per family and includes access to the Quilt exhibit, the Museum’s historic buildings, other special exhibits, and Horton Point Lighthouse Nautical Museum.

Hosted by Barbara Polliwoda and Kathy Spicer, J. McLaughlin will generously donate 10% of all sales during the event to benefit Southold Historical Museum.

No RSVP is required—simply stop by, bring a friend, and enjoy a fashionable summer afternoon while giving back to your local history museum.

Golf Tournament

Join Southold Historical Museum for a day of golf and community at the “History in the Making” Golf Tournament on Sept. 24 at North Fork Country Club in Cutchogue.

Enjoy a full day of golf with green fees, cart, locker, driving range, refreshments, a gift bag, dinner, drinks, contests, and prizes. A Dinner-Only Package is also available.

Local businesses and supporters can also participate through various sponsorship opportunities, providing great visibility while helping the Museum continue its mission to preserve and share Southold’s history.
