Refresh your summer wardrobe while supporting Southold Historical Museum! Join us this coming Monday, August 10, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at J. McLaughlin, 54100 Main Road, Southold, for an afternoon of shopping, light refreshments, and community.

Hosted by Barbara Polliwoda and Kathy Spicer, this special shopping event benefits Southold Historical Museum. During the event, J. McLaughlin will generously donate 10% of all sales to support the Museum’s mission.

No RSVP is required—simply stop by, bring a friend, enjoy refreshments, and shop for a great cause.

Register Today for the “History in the Making” Golf Tournament

Spend a memorable day on the course while helping preserve Southold’s rich history. Join Southold Historical Museum on Thursday, September 24, for the “History in the Making” Golf Tournament at North Fork Country Club in Cutchogue.

Your day includes green fees, cart, locker, driving range access, refreshments, a gift bag, dinner, drinks, contests, and prizes. If you don’t golf, a Dinner-Only Package is also available, making it easy to be part of the evening’s festivities.

Businesses and individuals are also invited to support the event through sponsorship opportunities. Your participation helps Southold Historical Museum continue its mission of preserving, sharing, and celebrating our community’s history for future generations.

One of Southold Historical Museum’s most popular evenings returns on Friday, September 18, at 5:00 p.m. Join us at the Southold Town Recreation Center, 970 Peconic Lane, Peconic, for an evening of Bingo, prizes, refreshments, and plenty of community fun.

Your $30 admission includes one book of 15 Bingo games, a complimentary dauber, and a raffle ticket for door prizes. Additional Bingo books are available for $10, and light refreshments will be served.

The winning ticket will be drawn during BINGO Night on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at the Southold Town Recreation Center. You do not need to be present to win.

One winner will be drawn for every 100 tickets sold. If fewer than 100 tickets are sold, the drawing will be held as a 50/50 raffle.

Final Line Dancing in the Barn Event Coming Aug. 28

Sign up now and join Long Island’s own Lady T for one final Line Dancing in the Barn event, Friday, Aug. 28, at 7:00 PM at the Maple Lane Campus.

Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or you’re a seasoned line dancer, everyone is welcome. Bring friends, family, or come solo for a fun-filled summer evening. You can purchase tickets at the door. $10 for members/$20 for non-members.

 

Rain or shine. Space is limited, so preregistration is recommended although not required.
