“CAST is incredibly grateful for our partnership with Sylvester Manor, whose donations of CSA shares, including fresh produce and farm-raised eggs, make a significant impact on our food pantry clients. Their commitment to engaging directly with our community members at their farm and providing culturally appropriate items reflects a shared dedication to fostering well-being and connection.”

“CSA is a great way for Islanders to kick off the Summer, meet new friends and get tasty seasonable fruits, vegetables and flowers grown right on the farm by our dedicated farmers. CSA is for 21 straight weeks beginning in late June and ending in late October.”

“2024 was my fifth season volunteering at the farm. It is a privilege to volunteer and to be able to work so closely with Arielle and her dedicated team. Being in the field with the sounds of birds and cheerful chatter, fingers in the dirt and genuinely rewarding physical labour – there is nothing like it!
A new wash station is sorely needed – the run up to CSA pick up is often frantic and it will be a huge help to have a proper wash station to make the cleaning quicker and more efficient.”
–Griff Fairbairn, CSA Member
