There is so much happening at The Gateway, and we are excited to introduce a brand-new event that puts the FUN in fundraising!

On September 18, we’re going ALL IN FOR THE ARTS with our Inaugural Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournament at Painters’ Restaurant in Brookhaven.

It will be a night of poker, friendly competition, food, drinks, prizes and plenty of fun, all while supporting the future of live theatre and arts education right here on Long Island.

And that is just the beginning. Come From Away continues to earn incredible praise, our Conservatory students are about to take the stage in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella Youth Edition, Fall classes are right around the corner, and an exciting lineup awaits us this fall and winter.

Get ready to go ALL IN FOR THE ARTS!

On September 18, join us at Painters’ Restaurant in Brookhaven for Gateway Playhouse’s Inaugural Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournament, a fundraising event supporting the future of live theatre and arts education on Long Island.

Players of all experience levels are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned poker pro, a casual player, or a first-time player simply looking for a great night out.

Enjoy an exciting evening of cards, competition, food, cocktails and amazing prizes, all for a great cause.

And if your starting stack runs low, additional $100 buy-ins will be available during the tournament, giving players the opportunity to add chips to their stack and stay in the game.

So sharpen your poker face, trust your instincts, and get ready for a night where one hand could change everything.

All proceeds raised from All In for the Arts benefit The Gateway Playhouse and our mission to create exceptional professional productions, nurture the next generation of artists, and ensure the magic of live performance remains accessible and at the heart of our community’s cultural life for generations to come.

The magic continues this weekend as the talented young performers of The Gateway School for the Performing Arts Conservatory Program take the stage in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella Youth Edition!

This beloved musical brings the timeless fairy tale to life with unforgettable songs, colorful characters, plenty of humor and, of course, a little bit of magic.

But there is even more happening behind the curtain.

Every Conservatory production gives young artists the opportunity to experience what it means to put on a show from rehearsal to performance, developing their skills, confidence, creativity and love of theatre along the way.

THE GATEWAY SCHOOL FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

Whether your student is stepping onto the stage for the very first time or ready to take their training to the next level, The Gateway School for the Performing Arts provides opportunities to learn, grow, create and perform with professional theatre artists and educators.

Classes for kids, teens and adults are coming this fall.
