“The power of one voice
can shatter the silence of a crowd.”
Set in the sweltering summer of 1958 Manhattan, 12 men meet in a jury room to decide the life or death of a teenage boy accused of murdering his father. Tensions run high as a lone juror argues the innocence of the accused murder. In this provocatively resonant American drama, 12 jurors from all strata of society revisit the evidence, and debate the issue of reasonable doubt. Personal issues soon rise to the surface, and conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide one boy’s fate.
Each performance will be followed by an optional Q&A talkback with Judges and other members of the judicial system.
Runtime is approximately 80 minutes with no intermission.
