Color My World Workshop

Explore the difference between light and pigment color mixing as you learn the “science” of color. Be guided to create a color wheel and explore gradations, tones, values, and complementary colors. This basic knowledge will improve your painting skills and make your artworks come to life. Have paint supplies on hand.

Learn the basics of light and shadow to create the effect of three dimensional volume in your drawing. Participants will begin by drawing a sphere and will then be guided to draw a human face with light and shadow.

Dream On! Surrealism

How can our dreams, unconscious mind, and imagination be expressed in art? This live Zoom workshop will explore the tenets of Surrealist art and its impact on Pollock. Joyce Raimondo will present participants with the Surrealist writing and art activities designed to access the unconscious mind. Have a pencil and paper on hand. All ages welcome.
